What is Bungee Fitness:
Have fun flying with us and toning muscles while you experience a high cardio, high resistance, yet a low impact workout.
Clients can expect to burn an average of 350-650 calories in one of the fastest growing, revolutionary workouts in the world!
Bungee fitness is an exhilarating exercise experience that combines elements of traditional fitness routines with the thrill of using bungees. Participants are fitted into a harness which is then attached to bungee cords that are anchored securely overhead, allowing you to engage in a wide range of movements, including cardio, strength training, and flexibility exercises.
As individuals jump, bounce, and fly through the air, they experience a unique sensation of weightlessness and resistance, providing a full-body workout that challenges both muscles and cardiovascular endurance. The bungee cords reduce the impact on your body and allow you to get a full body workout by giving you enough resistance to keep your muscles working! This unique workout combines cardio, strength training, and pure fun while you are securely attached to bungee cords. Say goodbye to mundane workouts!
This innovative form of fitness offers numerous benefits, including improved core stability, enhanced agility, and heightened coordination. The bungee cords provide gentle support and assistance, making it accessible to individuals of varying fitness levels and reducing the risk of impact-related injuries. Additionally, the high-intensity nature of bungee fitness can lead to increased calorie burn and accelerated fat loss.
Classes typically incorporate a variety of exercises, such as squats, lunges, jumps, and dynamic stretches, all performed while suspended to your bungee. Instructors guide participants through energetic routines set to upbeat music, fostering a motivating and uplifting atmosphere. Whether swinging through the air or engaging in floor-based exercises, participants are encouraged to unleash their inner acrobat and embrace the thrill of flight.
Bungee fitness not only offers physical benefits but also promotes mental well-being by boosting mood, reducing stress, and enhancing overall happiness. Its unique blend of excitement and exercise makes it a popular choice for those seeking a fun and effective workout that pushes boundaries and leaves participants feeling exhilarated and empowered.

What to Wear in a Bungee Fitness Class:
Bungee Fitness classes involve dynamic movements, so it's important to wear clothing that allows full range of motion and provides comfort and support. Here’s what to wear:
Comfortable Activewear:
Top: A fitted, moisture-wicking t-shirt or tank top that stays in place during jumps and stretches. Avoid loose clothing that may get caught in the bungee harness. Bring a non-hooded sweatshirt to keep warm until we start if you lean toward cold.
Wear a supportive sports bra.
Bottoms: Stretchy, form-fitting leggings/yoga pants (ideal) or athletic shorts or sweat pants that allow freedom of movement, especially around the hips and legs.
Footwear: Most Bungee Fitness studios require participants to wear non-slip, supportive newer sneakers that have laces and tie (no clogs, slippers, Velcro, slip-on shoes, flip flops, etc.). Make sure they are clean, newer for support and have good grip to avoid slipping. If you need suggestions for a supportive sneaker, please text me to set up a time to talk.
PLEASE CARRY YOUR CLEAN SNEAKERS INTO THE BUILDING TO CHANGE INTO!
PLEASE LEAVE YOUR SHOES IN THE ENTRY WAY UNDER THE BENCHES.
Avoid Jewelry: It's recommended to remove jewelry such as large earrings, rings, necklaces, or bracelets, as these can interfere with the harness and could cause discomfort or damage during the workout.
Hair:
Tie your hair back in a ponytail or bun, especially if you have long hair, to prevent it from getting caught in the harness or distracting you during the class. Wear a light weight Skida hat for example.
What to Bring to a Bungee Fitness Class:
Water Bottle: Stay hydrated! Bring a water bottle to keep hydrated before, during, and after the class. Hydration is key to maintaining energy levels.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY COLORED ENERGY DRINKS OR SODA INSIDE.
CLEAR OR LIGHT LIQUIDS ONLY.
IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU BRING A BOTTLE OF WATER!
Towel: If you are prone to sweating, bring a small towel to wipe off should you sweat during or after the class.
Positive Attitude: Come ready to have fun and push your limits. Bungee Fitness is all about enjoying the experience while getting a great workout! This is a judgement-free zone!
What to Expect in a Bungee Fitness Class:
Introduction & Setup
Welcome and Safety Briefing: The instructor will introduce you to the class, explain the key safety protocols, and show you how to properly wear your bungee harness. The harness is connected to a bungee cord that helps support your movements and provides a safe, low-impact workout.
Warm-Up: Expect a gentle warm-up to get your muscles ready. This may involve light cardio, stretching, and mobility exercises.
The Workout:
Dynamic Movements: Throughout the class, you’ll engage in various bungee-assisted exercises such as bouncing, jumping, squatting, lunging, and twisting. The bungee cord provides assistance, making each movement feel lighter and more fun.
Strength and Cardio: The class combines strength exercises targeting different muscle groups (e.g., arms, legs, core) with cardio moves to keep your heart rate up. Your instructor will guide you through each exercise, adjusting intensity as needed.
Low Impact: Bungee Fitness is low-impact because the harness and bungees help cushion landings, making it gentler on your joints compared to traditional high-impact workouts. However, the workout remains effective and can challenge your balance, strength, and endurance.
Cool-Down:
After the main workout, the class will wind down with a cool-down period involving stretches and relaxation techniques to help your body recover and prevent injury.
Fun Atmosphere:
Bungee Fitness classes often have a fun and motivating vibe. The music, the bounce, and the excitement of flying through the air make it feel more like play than a traditional workout. Expect encouragement and support from your instructor and fellow participants.
Instructor Support:
The instructor will provide individual adjustments if needed and ensure that everyone is using proper form to avoid injury. They will also help you adjust your harness for comfort and safety throughout the class.
Additional Tips for a Successful Class:
Arrive Early: Arrive 10-15 minutes early to get fitted with your harness, stretch if you like and settle in before class starts.
Eat Light: Avoid heavy meals 90 minutes before class, but have a light snack if needed to keep your energy up at least 45 minutes before showing up.
Take It Easy: If you’re new to Bungee Fitness, don’t feel pressured to do everything perfectly from the start. The bungee system assists you, so take it slow and focus on getting the form right. Over time, your confidence and strength will build. At any time, you can modify any of the exercises or not do them at all!
